“At the 2023 National WineAlign Awards there were 84 Pinot Grigio entries and 48 medals awarded in the Gris/Grigio category – that’s 56 percent receiving medals, which was just seven percent below the competition’s average. With 15 percent top (Gold or higher) honours that number was right on par which is frankly a win-win for consumers from a set of producers’ wines that generally impressed the judges.

Most surprising was the Platinum winner, not because of the producer but because the wine at $14.95 was the least expensive of the entries. Kudos to EastDell Estates in Niagara, Ontario for their 94-point scoring, Platinum winning 2021. Labeled pinot grigio by the way.” - Michael Godel

A beautiful pale straw colour, exuding elegance, and sophistication in the glass. Luscious aromas of juicy pear, crisp green apple, and hints of white peach. These aromas harmoniously mingle with subtle traces of white flowers and a touch of honeysuckle. Rich flavours of ripe pear and succulent apple, followed by a gentle citrus zest that adds brightness.

The wine's medium body and smooth texture pair wonderfully with a creamy risotto featuring seasonal vegetables or grilled chicken.
