The 2022 EastDell Black Label Gewürztraminer is a brand-new addition to the EastDell family. The vineyard’s terroir, climate, and viticultural practices all played a role in the remarkable grape quality. Picked at optimal ripeness, ensuring the fruit displayed the desired balance. The juice underwent a slow and cool fermentation process in temperature-controlled tanks, allowing aromatic compounds to be retained.

Captivating aromas of lychee, rose petals, and hints of ripe tropical fruits, balanced with undertones of ginger spice and a touch of citrus zest. Lush flavours of lychee and tropical fruit notes on the palate. The wine’s acidity provides a refreshing counterpoint to the sweetness of the fruit, while notes of ginger spice add depth and intricacy.

This Gewürztraminer’s aromatic profile and a hint of spice make it an excellent match for spicy dishes like Thai curry, Indian vindaloo, or Szechuan stir-fry.
