Winemaker's Description
A bright golden hue hints at the wine’s richness and texture. The nose opens with inviting aromas of ripe pear and lemon custard, layered with subtle notes of brioche and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is textured and expressive, with orchard fruit flavours unfolding alongside gentle citrus and a rounded, creamy mouthfeel. Nuances of vanilla and soft pastry notes add depth, leading to a smooth, polished finish that feels both generous and refined.
The 2022 growing season delivered high-quality Chardonnay despite a smaller crop. Warm summer conditions and a dry fall with cool nights allowed for excellent ripening while retaining acidity. The fruit was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel with partial malolactic conversion, then aged for 12 months in French oak on fine lees to build texture and complexity.
