COVID Community Partnership

Lakeview Wine Co. donates 100,000L of wine to Dillion’s Small Batch Distillers to distill into hand sanitizer for front line workers across Canada

Throughout this time, it’s been truly amazing to see people come together (from a distance) to help each other out. We at Lakeview Wine Co. were given the opportunity to help our frontline workers by our friends at Dillon's Small Batch Distillers. With the assistance of Sheldrick J W Transport, who graciously donated their services, we brought 100,000L of wine to Dillon’s to be distilled into sanitizer for our frontline. After going through the distilling process this will become bottles of sanitizer, half of which will be going to our first responders in Ontario and the other half we will be shipping out to our frontline workers located in BC.

We would like to praise Geoff and his team at Dillon’s for their courageous efforts to help by shifting their operations to solely producing sanitizer for frontline workers. This was all made possible thanks to Canadian businesses partnering together. It’s amazing to see our industry helping to make a difference so thank you to everyone who has donated their time and resources as well.
